Dear all,

I get the following exception from Java Web Service. Please kindly suggest me for the exception. What can cause the error? What does it mean 'Read timed out'?

Caused by: com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.SOAPExceptionImpl: Error setting the source for SOAPPart: Read timed out
at com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.soap.SOAPPartImpl.setContent(SOAPPartImpl.java:263)
at com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.soap.MessageImpl.init(MessageImpl.java:364) ... 23 more

Thanks you all.

Does this happen in the client or in the service? Seeing the relevant code might help (please UseCodeTags when posting code).

Have you used a tool like SOAPUI or tcpmon to inspect whether the SOAP sent to both servers are identical?

Hi,
I debugged SOAP by using Tcp Trace and Filddler tools. Request SOAP messages from both server are the exactly the same. Only respone is different. One server received proper SOAP response. The other server get the exception with HTML content. Please don't hesitate for further information. Help me to find out the problem.
Thanks a lot for your reply.

Post a copy of the good SOAP response received by the server and from the web service.
