I am beginner.I am doing a project in "Migration of BPEL web services".I dont know how to run a sample application in tomcat server.I have installed tomcat5.5.

Tomcat comes with sample web apps preinstalled. Check out http://localhost:8080/servlets-examples/ and http://localhost:8080/jsp-examples/. Also have a look at the examples in http://faq.javaranch.com/java/CodeBarnServlets.
