reset value of formFile

Hi,

I'm using <html:file...> in my jsp(struts) to upload file. My problem is that when I select a file I am calling an onChange event where I want to change the value of file selected for some reason but I am unable to do that by using val property. It is not resetting the value of formFile. aCan anybody please suggest me what should i do to reset value of file.

This is not a Struts forum, please refrain from posting Struts markup. It means nothing to most people who visit this forum.

Since JavaScript has no means to browse the local file system, how can you expect to change the value to anything meaningful?

Perhaps you should back up a bit and explain what you are really trying to accomplish.

JavaScript can not set the value of a file input element for security reasons
