I am pleased to convey my thanks to all code ranchers for helping me out to pass SCEA I. Looking for forward for SCEA II and III.

Here is my overall experience, I hope it would help someone preparing for the exam.

-- In recent past I had read multiple posts regarding the complexity/toughness of the exam. I understand that it depends on individual and preparation but I believe it matches to the standard of sun certificate. If you taken any sun certificate you will have similar experience. FEW simple questions, MORE intermediate and FEW expert level questions.

-- I had spent most of my time preparing for Design Patterns(GOF, Head First Design Pattern and Core Java Design Patterns), but I was disappointed by not getting that many questions on Design pattern. I got around 7-9 questions on design pattern. In deed I am glad that I concentrated more on design pattern as it would definitely help in my day to day practice.

-- I felt that I got more questions on Security, Common architecture, EJB and web services

-- My main source of reading material

J2EE 5 Tutorial (Its Free and covers lot of objectives)
HFDP, Core Java Desing Patterns, GOF
Notes from Mikalai Zaikin. Special Thanks to MZ. His notes really helped me in last minute review http://java.boot.by/scea5-guide/
Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for Java EE Study Guide - by Paul Allen , Joseph Bambara
Sun Certified Enterprise Architecture for J2EE Technology Study Guide by Mark Cade
Whizlabs (Not a must), Noway near to the exam standards. I had to do it b/c I had paid for it otherwise online free mocks are enough for practice.

I am all set and charged up for part II and III, hoping to get similar help from all SCEA gurus

Thank you
