I have an action with the following setup:

The question can be extended to the ActionForm etc..

Hi Sren. Couple of things here...I think you are confusing the <action-mappings> and the <form-beans> definitions in the struts-config.xml file. The action class can extend the org.apache.struts.action.Action class, or you can create a base class like I do in the sample application with the book. Your action forms extends the struts ActionForm class, or you can use the DynaActionForm class. There are 3 chapters in the book, creating and building actions, creating and building ActionForms, and configuring Struts that you help explain all the details for you.

Hi Sue.
Thanks for the quick answer. I think we might have misunderstood each other (perhaps due to the fact, that English is not my native tounge).
What I would like to know is, when I use the

what class should implement the setPropA(String value) methode? Is it a configuration class og is it the Action itself?
Regards,
Sren
