Hi all,

Since 3 months I am preparing for the scjp exam1.6 using k&b .I took Master Exam and got 30 to 40% in that.

And also recently I got 30% in Devaka Cooray's Examlab(Diagnosis test). Howmuch percentage I should get in the Examlab If I want to get 80% in the real scjp1.6 exam?

Because I completely believe that.

your advice is so important for me.

please help me

Examlab is tough, I got 61% in the final exam of examlab and got 98% in the real exam. Master Exam is I think very much of the same level as the real exam. The only thing that makes master exam tougher than the real exam is that it doesn't tell how many options to select in a multiple choice answer. But still I think 30-40% on master exam is too low. you should at least pass the master exam to get a decent score on the real exam. You might need to concentrate on some weak topics or identify what you are doing wrong while doing the mocks (like not being able to see compilation errors). Also don't give the same mock exam over and over. You might get 100% on a mock exam if you give it over and over as you'll remember the questions. Try to give different mock exams, you can try Inquisition...

You can find a list of free and commercial mock exams here

The only cure for that is hours of television radiation. And this tiny ad:
