Struts2 A Query regarding Validation and displaying Error messages

Hi ,
I saw a example for simple Validation which is done in execute method of the Action class .

public String execute() throws Exception
	{

    if(!getUsername().equals("Admin") || !getPassword().equals("Admin"))
    {
            addActionError("Invalid Login Or Password");
            return ERROR;
    }
    else{
      return SUCCESS;
    }
  }

On to the Login.jsp the Author has used for displaying error messages .

<s:actionerror />
<s:fielderror />

But i could not find any use of <s:fielderror /> . I mean this application is working fine even if i removed <s:fielderror />.

Please tell me why did the Author used <s:fielderror />
