Although I have HTML & BBCode enabled in my profile, I seem unable to be able to use either in my Signature text (see below)...

Is there something else I need to set ?

Cheers

HTML doesn't work in the JR signature. UBB does work though. What UBB codes have you tried?

Only the [i] and [url] UBB tags can be used in signatures.

Interesting, I didn't know that the UBB tags were restricted too. I guess it is because I only used the [url] tags in the signature.

Thank you.

In the tutorial it was mentioned that "http://" is not necessary :-(

Which tutorial is that? Do you have a link to that page so we can try to correct it?

Sure, here is the link: http://gilmore2.chem.northwestern.edu/ubb/ubbcode.html

Note that the "http://" part of the URL is completely optional.

Best regards,
Kai

JForum does not implement all BBCode options; see http://faq.javaranch.com/java/UbbCode for what's possible.
