I was wondering if anyone has purchased the below book on Safari rough cuts

The title is Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for Java EE Study Guide, Second Edition

In its current format, would i get good value for money if i purchased this book?

If you wan it for part two of exam I should say last chapters is not completed yet.

But for part 1, is a good book

Yes, this book is straight to the point, good one. Some check points, short guide like "when to use what" , last chapter for Part II & Exam yet to complete.

Can i buy this book for Part I Exam ?

In its current format, would it be helpful for me to pass the Part I exam, if i purchase this book ?

Not really.

The book has a some TBCs (to be completed) in it especially in the Business Tier section.
There is no specific chapter or topic for the Section 6 [Applicability of Java EE Technology] objective.
The chapters on Web and Business Tier are a bit light and I would be surprised if the exam would only test at this shallow level.
The chapter on patterns is not yet complete with a lot of blank spaces where the core JEE patterns should be.
