Firt off, I would like to thank everybody on this forum who shared her/his knowledge/experience. I've just got out of prometric center and thought should share my experience before its long gone from my memory. I've cleared the test with 75% score. Not a great score, but I expected a better number while I was doing the test. It felt kind of easy to answer most of the questions, but it certainly looks like I missed some trick here

- Most of the questions give you a usecase scenario - "Company XYZ needs...,... from system", so each question needs to be read twice to understand the requirements.
- Most of the questions require you to select more than one choice. I find this is kind of tricky, as you could lose marks even if your asnwer is mostly correct.
- Most of my questions were on WebServices, JMS, Secuirty, JSF, Servlet API, however I saw atleast couple of questions from all sections.
- Some questions require you to remember the syntax. Working with couple of sample JSF apps could have come handy.

Best of luck for all those taking Part1 test. Your help for my Part 2 preparation is greatly appreciated .

Congrats !!!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I am bit surprised to know that some syntax level Questions in this exam were also there ...so looks like one need to brush before making an attempt and but other guys who have cleared the exam mentioned that they didnt face any API level Questions. So i guess may be it varies from individual to individual about their experience.

Any how thanks for sharing the same and all the best for next levels.

Some basic API though. I find it difficult because I dont have much hands on experience with JSF.
