struts2 xml validator error message placement?

In case of struts 2, how would i make the validation message appear after the username or password field if using xml -validator?

Change the template (or, more cleanly, create a new theme), or do it manually using the "simple" theme.

Although there might be an attribute to control where the error message is displayed; I don't recall.

Also i've just started on struts, don't know about themes, got an example?

this produces the error message above the field targeted ( i actually want the error message to share same line after the field, and done with struts 2 xml validation if possbile):

Sorry didn't see your answer there. Also i've just started on struts, don't know about themes, anyone got an example on how does a theme change this (i want server side please, no javascript)?
