Passed SCJP 6.0 today with 95%

I've been a silent reader of JavaRanch, and registered today.

Thanks for Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates for the excellent study guide book! I came to know about many things by reading it twice. Actually, this one is the best book I've ever read I'll keep reading this book furthermore! I'm sure that will be helpful for me in future too.

Special thanks should go to Devaka Cooray for the excellent ExamLab exam simulator software. That's brilliant.
The software GUI of ExamLab is almost simillar to the exam engine at the prometric centre. Although the questions in ExamLab are much difficult, I found that practicing of all those questions are very very helpful in cracking SCJP. I learned lot of things which was not in K&B book (or may be I missed them ) by doing ExamLab mocks. Devaka Cooray might be a java instructor because his explanations are too good . I would especially thank to Devaka for providing these excellent perfect software for free. That effort is something which is very rare to see in these days. So, my advice for all scjp aspirants is to get the advantage of using this ExamLab simulator!

Although I didn't ask any question at Java Ranch before, I should specially thanks to Paul Wheaton and all other moderators. I've seen that all of them are volunteered here. Most of the free forum sites have annoying ugly ads over their forums. But there are very few ads in JavaRanch and the brown color GUI is very cool And I found that forum rules are very reasonable here.

My next goal is..... SCWCD.

Hope to continue with JavaRanch.

Hey, congratualations . I am also planning to take SCJP 6 sometime soon. How much time were you preparing for?? Did you have decent knowledge of Java before you started studying? What was your study strategy? It would be great if you could share your preparation experiences in detail, it will be very helpful for people like me..

You’ll find me in my office. I’ll probably be drinking. And reading this tiny ad.
