If this is your first Marilyn, you are in for very special times. Grandchildren are God's way of thanking you for having children and the sacrifices that went with it. If I would have known how good grandchildren were, I would have had them first

(got three with another due in November).

This is my second. Lillian has a big sister (almost 2 and a half) named Vivian.

Lillian is 7 lb 6 oz (3.3 kg) and 19 inches (49 cm) long. Vivian was only 5 lb 12 oz when she was born.

Mommy Becky will be going home later today so I'll be kinda tied up taking care of their family probably most of the rest of this week. My nitpicks will probably be somewhat delayed. Thanks for your patience.

Congratulations, Marilyn. We come across lots of kids in our lives but each new baby is different and you can never get bored with them. I've number of young cousins and few baby nieces and nephews and they are great fun, all of them.
So here's wishing you the same enjoyment with your new grandchild.
