Hi,
I am trying to do LDAP Authentication from Tomcat. When I am accessing the web page am getting pop-up for username and password and after given the user credential, tomcat console displaying the error message.
Configuration Details :

Error Details :
SEVERE: Exception performing authentication
javax.naming.NamingException: [LDAP: error code 1 - 000004DC: LdapErr: DSID-0C09
062B, comment: In order to perform this operation a successful bind must be comp
leted on the connection., data 0, vece ]; remaining name 'TestUser@SoftphoneAD.c
om'

Please tell me where I did the mistakes.

You are trying to bind to the LDAP server for authentication , but you're not supplying a password and it can't do an anonymous bind the way you have it presently set up.

Thanks for your reply. Please tell me how to pass the password for present LDAP bind and also give me a guidelines about how to do anonymous bind.
