proper format display from mysql

i am to display text stored in mysql on jsp page using javabean.
i am done with it really but problem is that paragraph and line breaks need to be worked out. i need to show text in paragraphs but it comes as one piece para.
i am also storing that info from another jsp/servlet pair.
do have to do the whole programming or is there any inherent property of mysql or anything else i can use.
fast replies will be appreciated. i'm need of it.

if the text comes as a whole, i suppose that it contains 2 linebreaks after each paragraph. So just look for these spots and replace them with <p>

CSS style sheet would help you better in such cases.

it comes as one string with no line breaks
