Hi all,
I cleared SCDJWS with 74% (time: 4 months - abouth 6h/week)
For those about to sit it the list of used study material follows:

- MZ Study Guide (great!)
- Ivan A Krizsan Study Guide (outstanding!)
- MZ Quiz
- Sun free and non-free mock exams ($55 but very similar to actual exam, obviously)
- SOA Using Java Web Services by Hansen (though I recommend it as a general reading and NOT as a study guide for SCDJWS)
- WS-I BP 1.1 specification (must know it like if your life depends on it ;))
- WSDL/SOAP specifications
- XML/XSD specifications (rather in depth)

I have a gift voucher for SCBCD, do you think it is worth the effort or should I go through Spring and the likes?
Thanks in advance
Regards

Vincenzo

Thank you all so much.
I would be really grateful if some one could provide any insight with regard to my question as well:

Thanks,

Congratulations, Vincenzo !

You're the best !

Glad to know my WSD 5.0 guide and WSD 5.0 quiz helped.

Regarding your gift voucher - it depends on your position and projects you're working on.
I would go ahead and prepared for SCBCD.
For example, SCBCD 5.0 gives you knowledge of JPA which you can use outside Application Server.

Best regards,
MZ

Asha Latha wrote:Hi there,

could you please let me know which books you followed for SCDJWS??

And is there any dumps available for passing SCDJWS - (CX-310-230)??

is there any difference between (CX-310-220) and (CX-310-230) exams ??

could you please forward any materials you are having to prepare SCDJWS to my ID: ashalatha81@gmail.com

Thanks in advance
Asha

Hi Asha,
please find the used study material in my original post.
The differences between 220 and 230 are mostly related to the JAX-RPC vs JAX-WS technologies covered.
I strongly suggest you should sit the 230 exam.
You can find study guides on the web at: http://java.boot.by/scdjws5-guide/ and http://java.boot.by/scdjws5-quiz/
Standard specifications can be found on the official websites of W3C, Oasis, Uddi, etc... consortiums

Kind regards
Vincenzo
