Hi all,

in struts-config.xml, (1) what does path attribute in <action> tag and in <forward> tag do ? (2) when does <forward> is executed and how does it's mapping done ?

Have you looked at any of the Struts 1 documentation or any of the *many* Struts 1 tutorials available on the web? This is pretty basic Struts stuff--I'd encourage you to at least check out the documentation to get a handle on the fundamentals before proceeding much further.
