creating a jar file from the plugin

Dear Experts,

i am trying to create a jar file of my plugin through export option but for the strange reason it is not available in deployable plugins and fragments what is the reason means what is the necessity thing to do and how to achieve because the plugins on which my plugin dependent can be seen in that wizard except mine what is the reason please inform.

main note : i am using eclipse 3.4
