Hello all,
I have just started to know about JavaServerFaces, but not very clear how to use this technology? Is it possible to incorporate this JSF with the existing Web application, if so, where can it be used?
Please advise... thanks in adv..

Moving to the Struts and other frameworks forum where frameworks such as JSF are discussed.

The official spec for JSF is out only couple of weeks ago.
I would wait until this is supported by some of the application servers.
In brief, it depends on what setup you are working on.
But, a combination of JSF and Struts like more controller strong framework would be a sure bet.
Kishore.

Hi Lokanathan,
If your existing Web application is developed with Struts, you may want to look into the Struts-Faces integration library. It allows you to use Struts and JavaServer Faces together. Here is the link for the library:
http://cvs.apache.org/builds/jakarta-struts/nightly/struts-faces/
I've put together a comprehensive listing of JavaServer Faces links on my website that you may also want to look at.

Hope that helps,
James
