The configuration for log4j in JBoss is as follows:
file name: D:\jboss-4.0.5.GA\server\default\conf\log4j.xml

During my application deployment, I am getting the following error:

Please help where I am doing wrong?

This is class Loader problem as your web application also has a log4j jar.
Please remove this jar from your application lib and restart server.
Application server's library is parent library for web application.

thank you dharmendra,
as you said I removed log4j.jar, it is not giving any errors during deployment.
