addFieldError doesnot work with sx:datetimepicker well for displaying error message

to display error information, i have to put

<s:fielderror /> in jsp
otherwise error message added by addFieldError could not be displayed in jsp frontend for sx:datetimepicker field
anyone has idea about it?
