Hi,

I'm using MyFaces 1.1.5 with Tomahawk 1.1.7. I have this inputText field on my page ...

When someone doesn't enter the value correctly, they see the message, '"perDriverFinancialAssistanceMaximum": Specified value is not a valid number.'. I want to change this message to be something else. Does anyone know how? I tried putting this in my message resources bundle, but to no avail ...

Did you register the custom message file in the JSF config file

<application>
<message-bundle>customMessages</message-bundle>
</application>

Yes I did that. The answer turned out to be I needed to add this into my custom message bundle ...

and then everything worked fine. It was figuring out what default converter to override that stumped me. - Dave
