JS Error ACCESS IS DENIED when submitting the form in jsp file through javascript

Hi,
i have written a jsp page which has a form element in it.
i'm submitting the form through javascript function by calling form.submit();method in js file.
on submitting the form i am getting ACCESS IS DENIED error in js file.

The error is coming for IE6,IE-7.
the same code is working fine for Firefox, Chrome and Ie-8.
can somebody please help me out with this error.

Can I ask you why you want to do it like this (IE?? )? If I were you, I would provide more info.

If you want to do some javascript processing before submitting the form, I would suggest using a submit button and then calling the javscript function using the attribute onsubmit for the form.

But again. It depends on what you want.

Hi,
We have created customized buttons in my project.on click of the button we want some validation,error message clearing and then submit the form.
all this is done by a javascript function which is in a .js file included in jsp page.
after doing all the validation and message clearing we call form.submit();
at the point of submission we get ACCESS DENIED error.
form gets submit for firefox,IE-7 and chrome.The issue is only with IE7 IE6
please help

Exactly where does the "ACCESS IS DENIED" message appear?

when i am clicking the button, the form is not getting submitted and my action class's execute method is not getting called.
at the line where i have written form.submit(); i am getting ACCESS DENIED error message.

On IE this message comes on JS Error console whose icon gets appear on bottom-left corner of browser in case of any JS error.
