User defined class problem

Good day to all of you. I am using a user defined class in my JSP page containing this code:



I can successfully import the class, but the problem is when I use the getJ method, it shows the error:




Please help guys. thanks

I don't see anything wrong with it, other than your class name should not begin with a lower-case letter (by convention only, that's not causing your problem). I would guess that the object located at runtime is not based on the source code you're looking at. Perhaps it hasn't been rebuilt, or if it has, the current version is not copied into your application when deployed?

Another possibility is that you have an old version of the class sitting somewhere it shouldn't be?

what you are given information is not enough. do you mean you define an local inner class in your jsp which is poor practice . please ellaborate .
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
