Hi All,

I have around 3 years of experience. My first Employer was a small software company and i was into developing games for mobile using J2ME. After a year i switched to another job where am currently working in J2me,blackberry and android.Last month i attended an interview with Wipro and cleared both technical rounds and was asked to submit the documents for Backgroud Verification. Then i found that my previous company was closed and during the process of interiew i informed the HR about it and gave the contact numbers and email id of the contact person. But After a couple of weeks i got a mail the position i applied has been filled. But He has not been contacted at all during this process

So if we worked in a company that is closed,will that affect us getting a job in MNC? Please give your thoughts on this.

Strange. Where you given an employment contract or did they do the BV prior to this? It looks like they had someone else in addition and pursued the other one. Even if you are technically better then the other person, other factors have to be considered like the notice period, etc. I know where I used to work they didn't take on an exceptional candidate as they had someone adequate that could start straight away even though was not the best candidate for the job.
