Can someone tell me what is the exact purpose of declaring ActionForm with session scope. ActionForm objects are usually used to get user inputs from forms and these values can be used in someother session object which I can create inside an Action class. Since ActionForms are used to just manupilate form data, is there any specific purpose to declare them as session scope. Iam totally confused. Please HELP.

How would you implement a multi-page wizard without storing information introspected from previous wizard pages in the HttpSession? Sure, you could stuff each page full of hidden fields to remember all the other pages, but elegant it ain't.
