Hi Guys,

1) I completed SCJP exam with 70% in May,2009. Now, I want to do SCWCD.

2) I had the basic knowledge about Servlets and Jsp's.

3) Which exam is more helpful for my career. (SCBCD or webservices or SCWD) { Am a fresher, recently joined in a MNC }

4) Please Help me how to start the preparation for SCWCD.

* I already referred to the previous posts in this forum . Many people suggested HEAD FIRST SERVLETS AND JSP'S 2ND EDITION AND SCWCD Study Companion by Charles Lyons.

I want to study only single book. Which is the best among these two. And where can I found syllabus for these EXAMS.

Thanks A Million,
Ramesh.

There is no "best" book. Some people like one book, some like the other. You can refer to any of them. SCBCD is a little advanced as it covers EJB as opposed to normal Servlets and JSP. Checkout ScwcdLinks and ScwcdFaq for link to objectives, specs and other helpful stuff...

Both these books are great! However if you are totally novice to JSP and Servlets then I suggest go for HFSJ, else if you are comfortable with Servlets and JSP then my strong recommendation would be Charles Lyons. This books is simply awesome, full of knowledge. And ofcourse both books cover SCWCD objectives fully.
