hi i have used servletcontext listener example code as follows,

import javax.servlet.ServletContextListener;
import javax.servlet.ServletContextEvent;
import javax.servlet.*;
import java.util.*;
public class serv implements ServletContextListener
{
public ServletContext context=null;
public void contextInitialized(ServletContextEvent ev)
{
try
{
context=ev.getServletContext();
context.setAttribute("a","a");
}
catch(Exception e)
{
e.printStackTrace();
}
}
public void contextDestroyed(ServletContextEvent ev)
{
context=ev.getServletContext();
String s=context.getAttribute("a").toString();
System.out.println("as"+s);
this.context=null;
}
}

In web.xml i have mention this

<listener>
<listener-class>
serv
</listener-class>
</listener

I dont the url i should use can any one help!!!

I assume you don't know the URL of the of web application your testing.
If this is your question then it depends on the web application server your using.
For instance Tomcat uses the war file name or the web folder name as the web context root.
BTW I recommend you use package for your listener.
