McAfee Antivirus Program Goes Berzerk

Apparently one of our area hospitals was nearly shut down by the problem.

working for a major hospital organization, I'm somewhat shocked. Every department I know of has procedures for when their applications go 'down'. I can't believe they'd turn away all that money just because the computers broke...I know we wouldn't!!!

This is bad news for McAfee Antivirus Program... Also some of companies that we supported are still use it.
So could they fix the problem?

I live in a cold, dark corner of this hospital so I can't say for sure, but we're so heavily invested in EMR's, I bet a major computer outage would cripple this facility.
