By default Maven assigns artifactId as Eclipse Project name. The artifactId is in lower case but, our Eclipse project Naming convetion in UpperCamelCase. Is there any way to have custom different project name apart from artifactId?
Example: artifactId=test.common but project name should be CommonProject.
I'm not sure that of the dozen or so active projects I have that even 1 in 3 of them has the same artifact Id as its Eclipse project name.
The artifact ID is defined in the POM and you can edit that. The Eclipse project can be renamed using the Eclipse project navigator view.
"privilege" comes from the Latin words for "private" and "law" (legal) and dates to feudal times. To "claim privilege" meant that you were above the laws that applied to the common people.

We can do that. But i was looking at some uniform approach in the team to have custom project name and different artifact id. While checking out as Maven project from SVN, we can specify different project name in "NamePlate" of Advanced section but, what if I am checking out multiple project at a time.
So, there is no way have them with different name?
