CarefullyChooseOneForum

Although messengers connect to a remote server, this topic does not really belong to Distributed Java

Since, this is a java forum and i do not see anything related to java. I am moving this to Meaningless Drivel which i feel is the best for this question (although i believe your query is not meaningless). Ankit/fred/Henry feel free to move this anywhere you feel is more adequate.

I use Adium on my Mac. Digsby is good on Windows but make sure you go and adjust all the sinister stuff they turn on by default like spamming and using your CPU to do their work. Pidgin is nice.
