I want to make html,css validator programme using java

hi all,
I m very new to java.
I want to make a program that reads source code of any URL, and then it validates it's markup language syntax,css,and broken links.Can you please guide me in the issue,, how I start it and how I can achieve it?

If anybody has source code for this in even in other language then please send me .

If anybody has better idea in my project definition,,then please guide me.

To read from a URL, look at the java.net package.

Here are a couple of examples - URL Example,

If it returns XML, you can check if its well-formed. But I am not sure how you can check for css and broken links.
