Did you declare a perform() method in the Performer interface ?

Has the Performer interface declared perform method. But I doubt the error is for something different problem.

perform method is there.
i think this should be something with xml file.
I put perform.xml file inside project folder and src folder too.

Looking at your picture, I wonder why the performer variable does not appear in blue in the last line. Try to delete the line, and retype it.
