I have a login page for an application. The login page works fine in IE6+, mozilla, chrome, opera, but it fails to work in Safari. The problem is not UI releted. I am not able to click on the form elements like the login textbox and password textbox. Also the login button is not clickable.

I have put a normal javascript alert on the textbox , which again works in the other browsers. But the event is not registedred in Safari.

Any pointers as to where would the problem lie?

Thanks in advance.
