I got 1.6 years experience in Java technologies before, then i went for higher studies to do masters which is a 2 year program, after i never applied for jobs for the period of 1 year. Now i want to go for job due to my financial status, so i passed the scjp 6 exam and applied for jobs.

I attended 3 interviews, i was waiting for the results for about 1 to 2 weeks but no reply from the companies, I would like to know why i am not getting reply eventhough i called the company and asked but no replies properly, but the other candidate who attended interview like has got reply that she was not selected.

I had experiences on jsp, servlets, but most of the wanted jobs contains requirements like hibernate, spring. Companies and consultancies are looking for hands on experience, i am like blend of what to do?

I have a plan to take scwcd also.

Please give suggestions regarding hands on experience.

-- Learn the core concepts of those frameworks.

-- Work on tutorials.

-- Apply those frameworks in open-source and/or self taught projects

-- Add your familiarity/experience to your resume/CV.
