depends on role and company and value you bring. Is it Technical Architect/Sr. Technical Architect/Sr. Project Manager role ?
I would not write figures, but in my opnion pure Technical Architect/ Sr. Technical Architect should get more than Sr. Project Manager/Technical Manager.

If you have friend in HR of some company other than yours , take his/her advice, you will get realistic figures.

Salary will depend on the role. Besides that, I am also curious to know the range & figures. I think it could be as diverse as 15 LPA to 50 LPA.

You are right. For the technical track it could be as much as in the range that you mentioned. But on top of that it also depends on the company and the role.

50 LPA seems unrealistic.

10 years of failed projects and poorly written code, or 10 years of solid work, happy clients/supervisors and great references?

Agree.
Number of years of experience is not the only criteria for salary.
