For now, any candidate who wish to take the Spring Cert must attend training ? no more "Grandfather Candidate" ?

this is sad.
I had plans of appearing for spring certification.
now going through spring training is only way of achieving this certification.
i do not know why training is mandatory. why cannot a person study Spring from his own and appear in exam.
Spring is after all not that much difficult (this is something on which Spring framework creators would also agree with me).
since i believe in doing certifications (already had SCJA, SCJP and SCWCD), i was really looking forward to Spring certification but such a high cost training involved, i will not be able to give Spring certification exam.

i pray to God some time in near future, Spring certification organizer make this spring training as optional.

bye

Does this still apply? The only way is to take a course?
