Drop Down Menu if i selected countries it has to display States

If i select countries in drop down of Jsp page it has to display states ..... can it be done using custom tags , but page should not be refreshed

This isn't something you'll be able to use JSP for. You'll need to use JavaScript and Ajax.

As such, moved to the HTML/JavaScript forum.

What you are describing is called "cascading dropdowns" or "dependent dropdowns". It's been discussed many times in this forum, so you might want to search back for previous discussions.

It can be a bit tricky, but is almost trivially easy with a library such as jQuery. Especially for web apps powered by JSP on the back end.
