implementing file system storage of images

Please I am new to Websphere and I have an assignment to implement file system storage of images for voter registration and I need some direction how to go about. Any pointers are highly appreciated and welcome. THANKSs!

Your question is not clear to me. What are you trying to achieve and what specific help do you need?

The image can be stored in the database as well in the file system. The image can be exchanged in XML using Base64 data conversion. There are pros and cons of storing image in file system vs the database.

I have seen both the implementations and I think they both work fine.
