We are currently seeking engineers with expertise in Java / J2EE architecture to join our high energy and fast paced team. You will be a member of our team of Architects, Engineers, Business/ QA Analysts all working out of our Irving offices, TX. You will be involved in building high-performance, scalable, robust systems leveraging existing web logic portal framework Architecture for a large communications company with multiple product offerings. This is a Permanent / Direct Hire / Full time position with competitive salary and benefits.

Technologies: : Weblogic portal, portlets, Spring, JSP, Java, ALSB, Web Services, SQL Server, Oracle 10g SQL programming.


Sound knowledge of software engineering practices, software architectures (n tier), OOD, and design patterns.
Ideally 5-7 years of Java / J2EE / JSP experience.
Expertise in the design and development of large scale enterprise applications including the user interface, application server, and database (PL/SQL experience is a must).
At least 2 years of experience building ecommerce sites (B2C).
Hands on experience using the different development methodologies (Agile / Scrum).
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with focus on results and quality.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, and a desire to want to learn more and share knowledge with others.
Ability to cope in a fast paced rapidly changing environment and commitment to aggressive deadlines.
Bachelors Degree in Engg, IT, CS, MIS or equivalent.

Additional Assets:

Weblogic portal and ALSB experience.
Webservices experience.
Knowledge of multiple current web markup and/or scripting languages: DHTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX.
