I've two XML configuration files which my EAR applications depened on on startup to get some configurations. I used to put these XML files in the application server's home directory (ex: j2ee/home on oc4j or bin in jboss). In websphere, I put these files on <WEBSPHERE_HOME>\<SERVER>\profiles\<PROFILE_NAME> and they are successfully recognized by the deployed applications, but in another deployment environment (network deployment) where another profile and cells are created, the files are not recognized.

Is there a way to create a global directory (like a shared library folder) for a specific profile or cell where I can put these files? or is there any other sophosticated way to make my application recognize these files?

thanks alot.
