Hello all...

do i have to remember the methods contained in java io classes and scanner,Console,Pattern,Matcher and Date,Calendar classes ???

is it enough to study kathy sierra book contents for this or i need to have remeber methods for these classes ??? Is there any questions on exam regarding this ?

Hi Ankur,

If you study the Kathy's book it is more than enough for the Exam.

If you understand the concepts properly you don't need to remember all api methods.

Remembering some api's might be useful in the exam. I personally got one question in the exam.

That is I had to select whether the below code get compiled or not

DataFormat df =DataFormat.getInstance();
df.setLocale("enUS");
