Hi All,
I developed a standalone java application using HttpClient component for web scraping. There I am connecting to a https url and reading the response and extracting the data for further processing. That application is working fine. But today I merged the code with a existing web application hosted in websphere version 6. Now when I am running the requesting for the same code via some web page it throws the exception So do I have to configure the websphere? Or I need some code change? Is it something to be done by websphere admin people?

Please help.

Does your WebSphere server provide an SSL certificate? And is it valid?

Thanks Paul. I solved the problem by writing a small code sniffet which self sign all the certificates. Detailed code is here.
