I am trying to develop my web site , I need to implement a feature similar to Mobile facebook , wherein a user can send the message by his mobile through SMS and the same data is reflected on the web site . In other words how could the messages be sent by SMS and the same is received and shown by my web site .
Any pointers to the technology used and books/material will be highly appreciated .

Many Thanks!

Are you sure that Mobile Facebook sends updates via SMS? It seems more likely that it'd use HTTP.

Okay. So send the message by SMS, and also post it on your site. Two steps to make two things happen. This is all happening on your site anyway so there shouldn't be a problem.
