I have gone through most of the tutorials (2.5 - 3.0) and they have seen to have the same problem when I call them from IE:
http://localhost:8080/ctetApp/ctetStart.htm - no available. This is not rocket science, so what am I missing here. If I run in within Eclipse and run the JSP it runs, but any redirect or callign it via an htm it fails.

I'm pretty much at the point where I can't devote much more time with this framework. Am I doign somethign wrong?

Hey,

You do look like you have code from a few sources.

<prop key="ctetStart.htm">indexController</prop>

I think this means that to map that URL, it looks for a bean with an ID if indexController, which you don't seem to have.

Are you getting any exceptions when you are starting up the application? Have you checked the logs?

Also:

return new ModelAndView("/WEB-/INF/jsp/ShowAll", "now", now);

Should this not be WEB-INF rather than what you have. Also since you don't have any ViewResolvers defined I think the view should be the full path - /WEB-INF/jsp/ShowAll.jsp rather than without the extension.

Hope that helps.

I do because I just can't seem to get it to work. So i have been trying to mix and macth to get it to work. Yea, I know not the best way of doing things. It will run if I give it the url with the .jsp extenstion. I thougth that it should run with the .htm extenstion? Am I wrong in that thinking? I ran a few tutorials and everything seems real simple, but it just won't run with the .htm extionsion in the url.

Thanks
Hector

I decided to try to get 3.0 working. It worked initially but for some reason it starts getting errors:

Seems very simple
