For a user application I have a panel (id = 'panelID') with an a4j:commandButton on it (this button closes the current panel) and attached to it a rich:hotKey with the key 'Alt + q'. This combination executes the a4j:commandButton. I also have another button which triggers a rich:modalpanel (id = 'modalpanelID') to be shown. This modalpanel should also have an a4j:commandButton with a rich:hotKey. This has somewhat the same functionality, i.e. this button should close the modalpanel. For user friendliness, all buttons with this behaviour in the application should have the same name and the same hotkey associated with it. So this button on the modalpanel should have the key 'Alt + q' associated with it.
Now I have the problem that when my modalpanel is shown and I execute the 'Alt + q' hotkey, my panel with id = 'panelID' closes, because the commandButton on this panel is executed. Is there any way that when the modalpanel is shown, only the buttons on this modalpanel can be executed via hotkeys and not those on the 'normal' panel?
