Good Morning for all. I'm learning Java EE with Servlet and JSP. I'm studying the book: Head First - Servlet and JSP. My problem is that the container does not mount my URL. I use Tomcat 6.0.9 and Eclipse Helios. Below my
faces-config:

And this is the error:

I appreciate any help.

Please take the time to choose an appropriate forum for your posts. This forum is for questions on JSP not JSF. For more information, please click this link ⇒ CarefullyChooseOneForum.

In Eclipse, check the project facets (under Properties) and make sure you have JavaServer Faces included. As an aside, I'm not sure why you named the servlet "Faces Config" in the mapping rather than "Faces Servlet" which is more common.

Firstly I don't get it, you are reading Head first jsp and servlets but your code conatins JSF.
Evidently, I feel that in eclipse you probably gone through wrong wizard and ended up creating Faces project.
If that's the case then just make dynamic web project.
