Hi all

I had a jsp page, where i get inputs from user,Once user submits the button, the page should do some operations(write values in xml file) and come back to same page with values retain in the jsp page.

Writing to xml is working fine, then i am using form bean and not calling reset method in that class

one way is to have bean:write in the value property of the each field

but my friend is telling if we are not calling reset method the value will retain..

is there any other thing to consider to retain value without writing bean:write

Thanks in advance

I'm not sure I understand the question. If you simply want the values in form fields to be redisplayed, as long as you've used the html:xxxx tags for the form fields, they will be redisplayed with the values entered by the user without you having to do anything. The key factor here is that the form bean must retain its values.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
