I am experienced Java programmer and thought of giving this certification primarily to revise and get up to latest technologies and polish my resume. But it is only when I started reading K&B book, I realized what I was missing. Really! Even after 8 years of experience I didn't knew / did't cared about certain concepts while programming. I feel extremely confident after this certification.

I will give 5/5 star to K&B and now looking forward for web component certification and will start with H&S series!

Thanks to coderanch, helped me verify lot of concepts in no time

Thanks to ExamLab which I actually failed Diagnostics exam on the day I was planning for certification and made me nervous But this made me work hard to tie loose ends (generics to be specific) and cleared exam. I didn't had time for any practice exam.

In total, I was prepared in 4 cal weeks with 2 hours per day

During exam, there were 3 "same" questions on NavigableSet twisted (subMap, keySet, headSet) - these were the only question i got nervous as when I moved to second question I realized I was wrong in first. Re-review after completing all questions really helped me (just mark question for review if in doubt so that you can review it later).
