How to register for SCJP 6 - India?

Hi friends,
I ve been trying to register for SCJP 6 from India . however the link now redirects to Oracle university and they haven't listed support for India as i get the following message.
"This country has not yet combined with Oracle. Exam information specific to this country is available on the sun.com page for that country (e.g. be.sun.com/training)."


How are people registering from India , expected to buy vouchers/ register for the exam ?? It would be great if anyone could help me with the same .

call up nearest NIIT centre. They can give you all the info plus any discounts...

So there is no way that I can directly write the SCJP without enrolling into NIIT or any other institute for that matter? :O

You can contact any prometric center in your city and give your exam there. You don't need to buy a voucher, you can pay your prometric center directly while registering for the exam...

I meant to say that you can call them and ask about exam vouchers.

I bought my vouchers through local vendors (NIIT) and they give discount which is sometimes not available on the prometric website

you need not enroll for classroom program for buying vouchers.
